We couldn't be more in love with this little bundle of joy. To be honest, it still doesn't even feel real sometimes. We just look at her and can't believe that she is actually ours -- we MADE her! And she couldn't be more of an angel. She rarely cries, sleeps pretty well, and is just such a sweet baby all around. When things get a little more settled around here I'll post the full labor story and some more pictures of our little girl. I feel like she's already changed so much since these pictures were taken in her first few days.. her hair and eyes have already started lightening and she's already gaining weight from her birth weight. We're so excited for her to grow and develop, but at the same time I have a panic attack every time I think about it because I want her to stay tiny forever! I guess that means that I'm officially a mom, huh? :)

congrats! she is beautiful. i'm sure all is a blur right now, but I hope you can remember all you can from these first few weeks and months. Also, LOL, sidenote: as I was making this post, I noticed my blog was on the sidebar. I'm not sure if I'm missing a joke here or if you're mistaking my husbands name for my dad. You wrote "ciara and rick schofield". My husbands name is Lyle. We died laughing when we realized this. I vote you keep it because now it's our own little inside joke.
Anyway, good luck with motherhood! I'm sure you'll breeze on through.
