one year

Well, I'm pretty behind in posting on this little journal. Whoops. Needless to say, life has been CRAZY! We finished up Spring Term at BYU, took all our finals in one day, and then drove off that afternoon with Travis and Ashley to Bakersfield to spend our weekend break with the Winn family. Saturday was Bruce's birthday and Sunday was Father's Day, so it was so fun to be there and celebrate in person with Tyler's dad, who is such a great man.

While we were there, we (sort of) celebrated our one-year anniversary. I honestly can't believe it's been a year. Sometimes it feels like we've only been married a month, and other times I feel like we've been married our whole lives. Weird how that happens.

The past year has been so exciting for us in school, work, and in our marriage. We have learned so many lessons together about how to be married, how to tackle tough decisions with a partner, how to communicate our feelings better, how to manage a household, and the list goes on and on...
