So my sweet mom and sisters threw a little baby shower for me and my sister Misha. We are both due in October and both having girls. It was just family and was super low key, but so much fun! Here are some picture so document the event.
The cookies that Mara made. It's kind of hard to see, but the ones on the bottom tray are little buttons! They were just adorable.
I love girly shower food. We had Caesar salad, a bow tie pasta salad with lots of veggies in it (recipe from Tyler's mom), a garbanzo bean, tomato, feta and basil salad with whole wheat pita bread, and watermelon. No meat, but all very filling with lots of veggies and beans for protein. Yum!
Cute little diaper cakes that my mom made for each of us
This is my mom's mom. We call her Gi-Gi. She's holding one of our family's newest additions, baby Phoebe (one of the twins born last month).
My mom and sister in-law Emily with baby Charlotte (the other one of the twins). Can you believe that Emily just delivered TWINS three weeks ago? She looks incredible, huh!
My amazing sister Misha with her super-sexy boot. She broke her foot a couple of weeks ago. How awesome is being pregnant in the middle of summer and having to wear a hefty boot everywhere? Not awesome at all, let me tell you. She is amazing.
Me! I actually straightened my hair (and it took forever, reminding me why I never do it)

Overall it was the most perfect little shower ever. The food was delicious, the company was wonderful of course (I love my family!) and it really helped me get a jump start on all the basics that I still need. For being so tiny, little babies sure do need a lot of stuff!
