On Saturday the Mister and I woke up to clear sunny skies. I didn't have work until 5:30pm that night. What on earth would we do on such a sunny Saturday in mid-March?
How about a bike ride? Perfect, even though riding a bike is on the list of things that I'm not supposed to do while pregnant. Apparently pregnant women tend to fall off bikes? I think that's just silly.
So Tyler got our bikes out of the garage and pumped our tires up and got us all ready to go. We were so excited to be outside and so excited for a nice ride -- in the summer we go on bike rides basically every day. The only problem was that once we were actually riding our bikes, the wind was absolutely FRIGID!!! Needless to say, our ride only lasted about 3 minutes. It looked like such a nice day, but it was just another of Utah's Spring Tricks. Utah tries to give you hope for Spring and make you think it is a nice day, when really it is cold and will probably snow tomorrow. You got us this time, Utah.
P.S. Look at some of the pretty things sprouting in our yard!
crocuses!

waiting for spring is like... dealing with bipolar disorder. warm, cold, sunny, windy. Yesterday it was snowing in my front yard and sunny in my back yard.
yes, utah is the only place where it can be sunny and warm and then be freezing and snow in a matter of minutes (like it did on friday). LAME!!!!
