Tyler's parents are in town, and we love having them here! They're here for Saron's blessing. Pam is so cute with Saron and she loves getting her dressed. She picked out this little hat for her to wear; it was a little hat that my mom had saved that all of her baby girls had worn. Pam gave us the little pink fleece hoodie. When you put the hood up, it has little bear ears on it. I'm such a sucker for stuff like that! Saron is smiling so much more now, which is so fun! It's great to finally see a little personality come out.
We have some simple resolutions this year. Mainly, we want to focus on the basics of life to help strengthen our marriage and help us build good habits for our family. We want to be better about having family home evening, family prayer and scripture study, and eating dinner at home together as a family. It's easy to get too busy for those simple things, but we know that if we build these habits now it will be much easier to keep it going when our family needs it most as we raise our kids. Here's to a new year, new goals, and trying to be a little better every day.
