We went to Sundance to hang out with our friends the Magleby's Sunday night. It was so much fun and Saron slept great. The next morning there was an avalanche that blocked the roads out, though, so we ended up staying later than we had planned, which was actually great because it was such a fun day!
So, Saron is really not a good napper... she will only sleep during the day if someone is holding and rocking her. If you put her down, she will always wake up within a few minutes. So basically, it's nearly impossible to get anything done. While at the cabin, though, Steve told us the most genius idea... put the baby in a laundry basket on top of the dryer while it's running! It kinda vibrates a little, is warm like a body, and makes gentle white noise. So there she slept while we played games and hung out until the dryer stopped... and then she woke up again haha. What a little stinker. Oh the things we will do to make children sleep!

Ha! That is so funny! Didn't you worry about it falling off? I guess the dryer doesn't shake when on- just the washer....
Baby Wise - the best (and worst) book for Mom's. I am doing it right now with Kaleb and it's killing me but I know it works and creates GREAT sleepers. He hasn't been napping during the day either and with 6 kids 2 of which that I homeschool I am at my breaking point where he HAS to sleep so I can get life done. I'll let you know if it works! Although the dryer option does sound tempting!
thats so awesome!! i am totally going to try that right now! i am doing laundry anyway...;0)
She looks just like you! So adorbs.
